Enhancing Child Safety in Odesa Lyceums

Last week, students from Odesa lyceums No. 28, 51, and 86 had the opportunity to engage with a mobile safety classroom.

In this initiative, rescuers alongside police officers shared crucial safety knowledge and skills with the students. They covered topics such as mine and fire safety, traffic regulations, and household safety practices.

Such programs foster a responsible attitude among children regarding their own safety and that of others. They teach children to be observant of their surroundings, assist each other in emergencies, and understand how to seek help when needed.

The mobile safety classroom is a collaborative project aimed at enhancing safety culture among children, implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, with support from UNICEF in Ukraine. These specially equipped vehicles are designed to educate and inform people, especially children.
