In the Odesa region, military sailors have successfully carried out an operation to eliminate a sea mine.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Navy command.

In one area of the Odesa coastline, a unit of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine discovered and destroyed an anti-ship mine that had been washed ashore by waves.

The hazardous object was neutralized through a controlled explosion.

The Ukrainian Navy urges all citizens with an important warning:

• DO NOT approach unknown objects in the water or on the shore.
• DO NOT ignore warning signs.

If you notice any suspicious objects, immediately notify the appropriate authorities.
