Join World Cleanup Day 2025

Residents of Odessa are invited to join the World Cleanup Day initiative. From August 20 to September 20, 2025 events will take place across Ukraine as part of the global World Cleanup Day initiative. Activities will be conducted in accordance with current safety measures.

The purpose of this day is to foster a culture of cleanliness, proper waste management, and environmental awareness while uniting Ukrainians around the world.

The nationwide youth movement Let’s do it Ukraine invites citizens both in Ukraine and abroad to participate in safe formats, with mandatory registration for their involvement.

“In a country facing the consequences of war every day, every good deed carries special significance. Cleaning is not just about the environment but also about the future of our children and the nation we are rebuilding together,” noted Yulia Marchel, coordinator of World Cleanup Day in Ukraine.

Participation formats for World Cleanup Day 2025 include:

  • traditional clean-ups — cleaning in parks, public spaces, and educational institutions. Participation can occur individually or as a group while adhering to safety protocols;
  • digital clean-ups — removing unnecessary data from devices; visit letsdoitukraine.org/digitalcleanup for more information;
  • recycling — engaging in the project “Find. Sort. Submit” and contributing data to the national recycling points map;
  • Ukrainians abroad can organize online or offline clean-ups, expressing gratitude to host cities.

Details, instructions, and registration forms will be available on our website.

Pre-registration for coordinators is mandatory.

A national online briefing will take place on September 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on our page.

Your participation will help elevate Ukraine’s position in the global environmental responsibility ranking.

The public organization Let’s do it Ukraine sincerely thanks all participants of the 2024 World Cleanup Day, with 404,121 volunteers contributing to the effort.
