Veterans' Grants: New Opportunities for Business Development

As part of the initiative "Support for Veterans," 100 veteran-owned businesses will be awarded grants ranging from 500,000 to 1.5 million UAH to start or expand their enterprises.

This was announced by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.

The funding will enable the implementation of various projects, from artisanal production to agricultural and industrial initiatives.

The selection process involved three stages: document verification, project assessment by independent experts, and public presentations.

This year, the competition received 398 applications, with successful projects including:

  • a business idea for a restoration workshop;
  • the launch of a veteran clothing brand;
  • the establishment of a sports center for people with disabilities.

Grants will also be awarded to entrepreneurs developing cafes, stores, auto repair shops, farms, medical institutions, and other projects.

Veterans from Kyiv and 18 regions participated in the competition, with the most grants awarded to participants from Poltava, Lviv, Kyiv regions, and the capital.
