Ukrainian Junior Ice Hockey Team Triumphs at International Tournament

The young ice hockey talents from Ukraine celebrated victory at an international tournament held in Austria. This event served as an important preparation stage for the under-18 world championship in division 1A.

Representing Ukraine was Ilya Bobrov, a product of the «Dzhynestra» sports school in Odesa, serving as the main goalkeeper.

Ukraine faced teams from Denmark and Austria during the tournament.

In the first match, Ukraine triumphed over Denmark with a score of 3:0.

Goalkeeper Ilya Bobrov made 25 saves, showcasing his skills in the game.

In the second match, the Ukrainian team confidently defeated Austria with a score of 7:1, thanks to the impressive performance of their goalkeeper.

Ilya Bobrov and his coach Ruslan Korop were awarded Honorary Certificates from the Odesa City Council at the «Sports Capital» ceremony in 2025 for their outstanding achievements in sports.
