Two beaches in Odesa have shown signs of contamination resembling oil spills, along with reports of dead birds. An official investigation has been initiated, and relevant services have been dispatched to the scene.

One of the most significant attacks on Odesa and the region occurred on the night of December 13, when a large part of the region, including Odesa, was left without electricity, water, and heating, with the city of Artsyz suffering the greatest destruction.
Occupants also began heavy shelling of the bridge in Mayaki on the Odesa-Reni highway, complicating access to crossing points and western settlements in the region. Authorities and transport services have developed alternative routes.
