Odesa Volunteers: Unyielding Strength of Support

Today, on International Volunteer Day, the city of Odesa celebrates the incredible work of volunteers who, together with local services, are helping to mitigate the effects of enemy attacks. This was reported by the Odesa City Council press service.

Volunteers are always the first to respond, caring for the affected and warming them with the kindness of their hearts:

  • NGO "April Tenth" with support from UNHCR;
  • NGO "Winds of Change";
  • World Central Kitchen (WCK);
  • Hromada Hub;
  • Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS);
  • NGO "Food for Life Odesa";
  • Charity Fund "Reach for the Sky";
  • Nova Ukraine;
  • Association "Council of Cities";
  • International Rescue Committee (IRC);
  • Dobrobat (National Volunteer Construction Battalion);
  • UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA);
  • Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) in partnership with Howard G. Buffett Foundation (HGBF);
  • NGO "Morning of Revival";
  • Caritas Ukraine;
  • NGO "Your City".

A special thanks is given to Veronika Etnarovich, head of the "Reach for the Sky" charity fund and advisor to the acting mayor of Odesa, who coordinates the interaction between NGOs and the city authorities. This collaborative effort proves its effectiveness and ensures that help reaches everyone in need.
