On August 23-24, 2025, a sailing competition took place in Odesa, organized by the Comprehensive Children and Youth School No. 13 in honor of Ukraine's Independence Day.

The event featured races in two categories: ILCA-4 and «Optimist». In the «Optimist» class, 23 young athletes made their debut.

Winners of the competition:

• in the ILCA-4 class - Yan Batsansky;
• in the «Optimist» debut (younger) - Lev Nikolenko and Tetiana Shvets;
• in the «Optimist» debut (older) - Matviy Parchenko and Natalia Shvets;
• in the «Optimist» - Hryhoriy Filinyuk.

The winners received trophies, medals, and valuable gifts provided by sponsors.
