Water Supply Alternatives in Odesa
Overview of the water supply situation in Odesa and alternative water sources during the power outage.
Municipal workers are tirelessly working to address the aftermath of vandalism in the city. Recently, unknown individuals have damaged garden furniture, defaced underground passage walls, and destroyed flowers in flowerbeds.
Earlier this week, white paint was found spilled in the City Garden. Employees of the Municipal Enterprise "Miskzelentrest" alongside the colleagues from the "Service Center" dedicated significant effort to clean the tiled surface. Previously, there was also a report of the theft of 15 rose bushes from a flowerbed located near the "Red Cross" bus stop.
Additionally, specialists from the "Odessa Electric Engineering Operational and Installation Enterprise" recently addressed the consequences of vandalism in pedestrian crossings, where vandals have previously defaced walls and damaged lighting fixtures.
In October of this year, electricians from "Odesmisksvetlo" documented an act of vandalism along the Health Route, where equipment on 10 poles was damaged. Automatic switches and terminal box covers were stolen, and cables were ripped out. The company’s specialists promptly restored the damaged equipment.
Furthermore, employees of the "City Roads" department regularly clean graffiti from public transport stops and install new glass panels. Daily, vandals leave their marks, break benches, uproot garbage bins along with concrete, and smash glass walls at bus stops. Stops also suffer damage due to traffic accidents.
The Odessa City Council urges residents and visitors to take care of community property. Intentional damage and destruction of municipal property can lead to criminal liability.
