On November 9, Ukraine celebrated the Day of Culture Workers and Folk Arts Masters.

A significant announcement was made regarding the collaboration between Odessa libraries and the Regensburg library system.

“The aim of the library project is to create halls of foreign literature in the Odessa libraries, represented by our sister cities. The Regensburg library will be the first pilot project,” noted Ivan Liptuga, Director of the Department of Culture, International Cooperation, and European Integration.

Next year, one of the libraries in Odessa will feature a German literature hall dedicated to the history of Regensburg.

The sister city of Regensburg will assist in the hall's organization, joint events, and the publication of interesting works by German authors.

An equivalent corner of Odessa will also be established in the libraries of the sister city.
