Celebrating Odessa Day in Brazil
Nova Odessa in Brazil celebrated Odessa Day, highlighting the cultural connections between Ukraine and Brazil.
Yesterday, Vienna hosted the anniversary festival «Golden Violins of Odessa».
This significant event brought together the finest musicians in the Austrian capital, continuing the cultural tradition that has become a hallmark of Odessa.
Launched 10 years ago on the initiative of Igor Pokrovsky, the festival has become an essential part of Odessa's cultural life. The «Golden Violins» carry on the legacy of the renowned educator Peter Stolyarsky, who nurtured many brilliant musicians.
«This concert in Vienna is our expression of gratitude for the support of Odessa and Ukraine during these challenging times. We are thankful to Austria for its solidarity, and it is a great honor for us to present Odessa's culture at such a high level. Odessa has always been the cultural capital of Ukraine, and we are doing everything we can to preserve its unique creative heritage for future generations», – stated the Mayor of Odessa, Gennady Trukhanov, at the festival's opening.
The festival continues to strengthen cultural ties between Odessa and Vienna, gifting the world with new musical talents and showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Ukrainian city.
