The municipal services of Odesa are diligently preparing for the upcoming spring season. Experts from the «Service Center» are getting the fountain equipment ready for reactivation in the new 2025 season. Traditionally, the first fountain to be launched in Odesa is located at Theatre Square on April 1.

Currently, specialists are preparing the fountains situated at Theatre Square, in the Victory Dendropark (the «Mermaid» fountain), in the Cosmonauts Square, at Soborna Square, and the fountain at the corner of Ak. Zabolotny Street and Krymsky Boulevard (the largest fountain in Odesa).

The reactivation process is carried out in stages, and usually by the end of April, all Odesa fountains delight residents and visitors with their beauty and freshness. However, under current circumstances, unfortunately, not all Odesa fountains can be turned on.

To maintain the fountain equipment in working order during the winter period, functional elements such as nozzles, motors, and pumping equipment were dismantled and stored in specially designated areas at the enterprise.

Additionally, the staff performs daily maintenance and cleaning of the assigned objects and territories.

Currently, ongoing repairs are taking place in the water dispensing area and cleaning of fallen leaves from the roof, as well as clearing the drainage systems of the well complex located on I. Rabin Street.

The specialists are also conducting repairs on the tiled surfaces and faucets in the water dispensing area of the well complex situated in the Starobazarny Square.

Employees of the «Service Center» maintain the sanitary and operational condition of the wells, monumental art monuments that are not architectural landmarks, ponds in Victory Park, modular protective structures, city fountains, and adjacent territories throughout the year.
