Tragedy in Odesa: Two Teenagers Electrocuted

In Odesa, authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the electrocution of two teenagers. One has died, while the other has sustained serious injuries. Rescuers were also on the scene, assisting the victim down from the roof of a train car.

The police reported that the incident occurred yesterday, March 9, in the evening near the railway station on Baltska Road, as informed by a passerby. Preliminary findings suggest that the two boys climbed onto a stationary train, where they were electrocuted. One of them, a 16-year-old, suffered fatal injuries. The 13-year-old was rescued from the roof and handed over to medical personnel.

"Rescuers used a three-legged ladder and rope to bring down the victim, who was hospitalized in critical condition. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated," stated the State Emergency Service.
