Renovation works to improve the green areas along Mykolaivska Road in Odesa are in progress. A total of approximately 6800 m² of grassy area is slated for treatment. This information was shared by the press service of the Odesa City Council.

The work is being carried out by specialists from the municipal enterprises 'Miskzelentrust' and 'City Roads'. Excess soil accumulated on the lawns is being removed, as it can lead to contamination of the roadway during rainfalls and adversely affect the appearance of the area.

As of now, 4315 m² of the coverage has been treated, and ryegrass seeds have already been sown over an area of 4255 m². All works related to lowering the soil level and sowing the lawn are planned to be completed by the end of March 2025.
