Celebrating Easter Safely in Ukraine

On April 20, Ukrainians will celebrate Easter during a time of war. There are significant risks of missile strikes and provocations on this day.

The Patrol Police have issued guidelines for believers on how to celebrate Easter safely.

According to Oleksii Biloshytskyi, the first deputy head of the Patrol Police Department, Ukrainians are advised to:

  • avoid large gatherings and consider online services;
  • not succumb to possible provocations;
  • adhere to the curfew in their area;
  • not ignore air raid sirens;
  • immediately report suspicious individuals or items to the police or via emergency lines 112/102.

The police also urged everyone to maintain public order and follow traffic regulations.
