For April 21, a high level of fire hazard is forecasted in the Odesa region. Weather conditions may lead to rapid fire spread in case of ignition. Meteorologists urge residents to be extremely cautious with fire.

This information is provided by the Hydrometeorological Center of the Black and Azov Seas.

"Due to the weather conditions, there is a high probability of fire occurrences in ecosystems, especially in the presence of ignition sources," stated the meteorologists.

Fire hazard in Odesa

According to meteorologists, the danger will persist and spread across almost the entire territory of the Odesa region. A high level of hazard has been declared in the following localities:

  • Lyubashivka;
  • Zatyshia;
  • Serbka;
  • Rozdilna;
  • Sarata;
  • Bolhrad;
  • Vylkove;
  • Izmail.

Safety Rules During Fire Hazard

To prevent fires, it is essential to follow these safety recommendations:

  • do not burn dry grass or leaves in private plots, as this may lead to uncontrolled burning;
  • do not light open flames near dry vegetation and farm buildings;
  • do not discard cigarette butts or matches on dry ground;
  • avoid visiting forests, as there is a risk of encountering explosive devices.
