Temporary Disruptions in Mobile Apps Due to Technical Maintenance

Due to technical maintenance at "one of the major data centers," there has been a temporary disruption in mobile applications, reported "Diia".

Details: Social media reports indicate that banking apps, "Nova Poshta," "Diia," and "Kyiv Digital" are currently not functioning.

Gorokhovsky suggested that a hacker attack might have targeted one of the large data centers.

According to KMDA, due to the technical failure at "Oschadbank," contactless payment for metro rides is currently unavailable.

At the moment, payment for rides can be made:

  • using a transport card;
  • with a QR code generated in the Kyiv Digital app;
  • using a paper QR ticket.

Updated: Later, it became clear that the issue was not due to a cyber attack. During scheduled maintenance at the De Novo data center, there was a power outage.
