In Odesa, the Barrier-Free Council conducted an accessibility inspection of the city’s bus stations.

As part of the monitoring of urban infrastructure for accessibility for persons with limited mobility, an inspection took place at four bus stations:

• Bus Station «Starosinna»;
• Bus Station «AV Pryvoz»;
• Bus Station «Pryvokzalna»; 
• Central Bus Station.

During the inspection, several issues regarding physical barriers that complicate access for persons with disabilities and other individuals with limited mobility were recorded.

All observations were documented for further collaboration with the bus station management and the development of solutions to eliminate these barriers.

The Barrier-Free Council continues its systematic work to create a comfortable, accessible, and safe urban environment.
