Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky extended his greetings to healthcare workers on their professional holiday and expressed appreciation to all those saving lives amidst the war with Russia.

This announcement was made by the president via Telegram.

"Today marks a day of strength, resilience, and humanity. It is a day for those who save lives and always come to the aid of others, providing care and support. Today, we celebrate the healthcare professionals of Ukraine. I thank every doctor, nurse, paramedic, and combat medic, as well as everyone working in hospitals, operating rooms, and intensive care units, and stabilization points. Your daily heroism saves our people. It is thanks to you that life continues. Great respect is owed to each and every one of you for your work during these challenging times. Thank you for all that you do for Ukraine." - stated Zelensky.
