Building Collapse on Kutuzakiya Street

On the night of July 24, a hostile attack caused significant damage to a nine-story building on Kutuzakiya Street: three floors of the second entrance—6, 7, and 8—collapsed completely, along with damage to load-bearing walls and staircases.

A technical assessment of the building revealed that its condition is unstable—there is a noted gradual vertical subsidence of the floor slabs.

The Emergency and Technogenic Safety Commission declared the second entrance as hazardous, indicating a potential for partial collapse. All residents of the building were evacuated and advised to temporarily stay with relatives, friends, or in communal centers.

Until the structure is stabilized, staying in the building is life-threatening. A round-the-clock security presence has been established to prevent casualties and property loss.
