Warning about dangerous meteorological phenomena Level I (yellow)

On October 8, northeastern winds are expected in Odesa at speeds of 15-20 m/s. Heavy rainfall is anticipated in the morning and afternoon.

 The Odesa City Council reminds residents and visitors to be vigilant about weather changes and to limit movement during adverse weather conditions, especially for the elderly, children, and pregnant women. Exercise caution when moving under trees, as strong gusts of wind and rain may cause branches and power lines to fall.

 Please do not leave vehicles under trees, power lines, or on stormwater grates.

  The danger of being in the beach area is extremely high. Due to the storm in the Black Sea, the mine danger is increasing. There is a high likelihood of sea mines being dislodged from their anchors and drifting to shore, as well as drifting along the coastline. There is a risk of uncontrolled detonation of a mine, especially in stormy weather. If you discover a sea mine or similar objects, do not touch them. Immediately report to number 102.
