Employees of the Municipal Enterprise «Miskzelentrest» have begun preparations for greening Odessa ahead of the winter season.

According to the approved plans, this autumn, 1064 young trees will be planted throughout the city - large saplings of deciduous species with root balls to ensure better survival in urban conditions. Specifically, 330 saplings (white acacia, sycamore maple, common ash, Japanese sophora, Western plane) are planned to be planted in places where stumps have been removed.

The tree planting is expected to commence around the beginning of November.

Additionally, the gardeners have already started preparing the greenhouses located at the «Rose» site for winter. The greenhouses operate year-round, and currently, work is underway to sow summer annuals, firewood is being prepared, and the greenhouses are being covered with polyethylene film.

From the beginning of November, the enterprise will start winterizing the irrigation systems. In total, «Miskzelentrest» manages about 50 irrigation systems located in various parts of the city, including parks and squares.
