Odesa has approved a new action plan for creating a barrier-free environment for 2025–2026. The implementation of these measures is monitored by the Barrier-Free Council under the Odesa City Mayor.
Experts from the municipal enterprise «Urban Roads» are working on installing ramps at pedestrian crossings throughout Odesa.
Since the beginning of 2025, a total of 85 ramps have been installed in the city, 34 of which feature tactile paving, as part of the «Barrier-Free Odesa» city-targeted program.
