Orthopedic and trauma surgeons from Odesa are participating in the DKOU - 2025 international congress taking place in Berlin from October 28 to 31, 2025.

Ukrainian experts are presenting our surgical trauma school on an international level and discussing future collaboration opportunities with colleagues from around the world.

During the congress, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the All-Ukrainian Association of Trauma Surgery and Rehabilitation and the German Society of Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery. This document solidifies the strategic partnership between two powerful professional communities and opens new avenues for experience sharing, joint research, and participation in international training programs.

«The signing of this Memorandum is a significant step for our country, ensuring interaction between two major professional associations from Ukraine and Germany. It expands our access to modern European science and clinical practice, allowing us to implement achievements in global trauma and orthopedics in the medical care we provide to our patients,» — stated Serhiy Varzary, the chief non-staff orthopedic trauma specialist of the Health Department and an expert in orthopedics and trauma who is attending the congress.
