Autumn Greening of Odesa: New Trees and Shrubs

In the city of Odesa, the autumn greening works have begun, carried out by the Municipal Enterprise «Miskzelentrest». This year, more than 1050 young trees are scheduled to be planted. Specifically, on streets where old stumps have been removed, 330 new saplings will be planted, including white acacia, sycamore maple, common ash, Japanese sophora, and western plane trees.

This week, the workers have already planted 9 sophoras on Ukrainian Heroes Avenue, while 3 more sophoras have decorated the City Garden.

Additionally, in Istanbul Park, 70 cotoneaster bushes have been planted, with a total of over 1800 bushes planned for various districts of Odesa this autumn, including privet, spirea, mahonia, and forsythia.
