Revitalization of Odesa Lyceum No. 56: New Opportunities for Students

In Odesa, a major renovation is underway at one of the leading educational institutions in the Primorsky district — Odesa Lyceum No. 56, located at 1 Tynystaya Street.

The project includes the implementation of modern energy-saving solutions and improvements to the landscaping of the area.

So far, the following work has been completed:

  •  landscaping of the territory: sports grounds with soft surfacing have been created;
  •  the metal fence has been partially replaced;
  •  a new ramp has been constructed for easy access to the school from Tynystaya Street;
  •  the pedestrian walkways in front of the school have been restored;
  • the roof of the building has been insulated;
  •  entrances have been fitted with ramps and covered with non-slip tiles.

Currently, work is ongoing to insulate the facades, restore the paving, install canopies over the entrances, and set up the drainage system.

Additionally, landscaping of the area is in progress. By the end of the year, it is planned to install modern sports equipment and complete the fencing of the sports areas.

This year, a mural titled «Towards the Dream» has appeared on the facade of the lyceum, created as part of a joint project by the NGO «Ukrainian Sappers Association» and the Canada-Ukraine Foundation.
