Experts from the municipal enterprise «Odesmisksvitlo» have successfully completed the restoration of the street lighting network on Baltimore Street (Posmitnoho) in Odesa.

The electricians replaced a damaged pole that had begun to deteriorate at the base.

The work involved dismantling the old pole and installing a new reinforced concrete one. The light fixture and cable line were also connected.

Since the beginning of the year, «Odesmisksvitlo» has replaced 34 defective poles.

The pole replacement process is quite labor-intensive, requiring special equipment (a crane).

The specialists of «Odesmisksvitlo» regularly conduct repairs of street lighting in the city’s streets, parks, and squares, as well as address emergency situations.
Routine inspections of street lighting facilities (poles, distribution cabinets, fixtures, etc.) are carried out to identify non-functional or damaged elements, as well as acts of vandalism.
The electricians also perform cable network re-tensioning, replacement of outdated fixtures and brackets with new ones, tree branch trimming, emergency situation resolution, and other tasks.
