Last week, the Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine, Edem Adamanov, visited City Clinical Hospital No. 11 in Odesa.

The hospital recently inaugurated a modern cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery department equipped with state-of-the-art technology. This is a significant advancement for the city's cardiology cluster and enhances medical care accessibility for patients. 

Plans are underway to expand diagnostic capabilities, as Hospital No. 11 plays a vital role in providing assistance for polytrauma cases. 

During the visit, an assessment was conducted for the installation of an MRI machine - a critical piece of equipment that will enable: 

• quick and accurate assessment of injuries in polytrauma patients; 
• improved quality of injury diagnosis; 
• continuity of patient care without referrals to other hospitals; 
• expanded capabilities for urgent and planned neurodiagnostics. 

«The installation of the MRI will be a strategic move that will enhance the role of Hospital No. 11 as a prominent clinical center for providing highly specialized care to Odesa residents and visitors,» stated Olena Kolodenko, Director of the Health Department of the Odesa City Council.
