Expanding Horizons in Stroke Treatment: Insights from Odesa Doctors
Doctors from Odesa participated in the 13th Winter Stroke School in Switzerland, discussing novel treatment methods.
As the prolonged rain began in Odesa, the special equipment from the Municipal Enterprise «City Roads» promptly deployed to the city streets to address potential flooding.
Currently, traffic on the city roads is clear. Only parts of 5th station V. Fontan and Yarmarok street are partially flooded. A total of 344 specialists and 46 units of special equipment are working in the streets.
In case of extended rain, like today, special water pumping machines, including a high-pressure hydrodynamic unit based on a MAN vehicle, are traditionally stationed on the streets: Balkivska, Prymorska, Yevhen Chykalenko, Heavenly Hundred, on French Boulevard and Customs Square, where flooding usually occurs during heavy rain.
Additionally, employees of the Municipal Enterprise «City Roads» are on the streets using excavators with special attachments or manually to quickly clear the storm drains and manholes from debris, branches, and leaves that are washed into them by the rainwater streams.
