As of July 1, 2025, the total cash in circulation in Ukraine reached nearly 860 billion hryvnias.

This information comes from the National Bank of Ukraine.

Compared to January 1, 2025, the amount has increased by 37.5 billion hryvnias, which is a 4.6% rise.

The most circulated banknote is the 500 hryvnia note, while the least circulated is the 50 hryvnia note (27.3% and 4.4% respectively).

Currently, there are 2.6 billion banknotes in circulation totaling 851.2 billion hryvnias, along with 15 billion coins worth 8.5 billion hryvnias.
