On September 17, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the budget for the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) for the year 2025.

This was reported by the PFU press service, referencing the relevant government resolution.

The PFU's budget revenues are projected to be 1.025 trillion UAH, which includes:

• 858.8 billion UAH – revenues from mandatory state pension insurance;
• 42.9 billion UAH – revenues from mandatory state social insurance related to temporary loss of capacity for work due to accidents at work and occupational diseases;
• 117.3 billion UAH – funds from the state budget to support social payments made by the PFU.

The budget expenditures are set at 1.02 trillion UAH, accounting for pension and insurance payment indexations, as well as additional payments and recalculations.

The budget also includes provisions for pension payments determined by court decisions.
