Dance Energy in Odessa: An Unforgettable Evening
An unforgettable dance battle took place in Odessa, filling the city with energy and excitement.
The Southern Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushinsky hosted an event titled «Mental Health Support: Expanding Horizons». This initiative is part of the nationwide program «How are you?» launched by the First Lady of Ukraine.
The event aimed to raise awareness about the significance of mental health and to create a space for dialogue and experience sharing.
Over 40 participants attended in person and more than 100 joined online, including students, psychologists, educators, and activists.
Welcoming remarks were given by the Deputy Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, the University Rector, and the regional coordinator of the «How are you?» program. They emphasized the importance of consolidating efforts in the field of mental health and the special role of youth in building societal psychological resilience.
The program featured a themed quiz, interactive activities, and practical tools for mental well-being support.
The event was moderated by the head of the Mental Health Center, who presented relevant statistics on consultations with mental health specialists.
At the end of the event, participants engaged in a gratitude practice by creating a symbolic «Tree of Gratitude» with personal wishes and words of support.
This event confirmed the growing interest in mental health and the importance of continuing such initiatives in the region.
The development and implementation of the nationwide mental health program «How are you?» is supported by the Coordination Center of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with expert assistance from the World Health Organization.
