Recognition of Heroism in Municipal Services in Odessa

In Odessa, Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov presented an honorary award to Oleg Mosenzov, a specialist from the Municipal Enterprise "Service Center," who returned from an important business trip related to the construction of fortifications.

This prestigious award was given in celebration of Ukraine's Constitution Day, recognizing his diligent work, high professionalism, and exemplary performance of duties.

Oleg Mosenzov, 45 years old, has spent the last three years in the municipal sector, primarily focusing on the maintenance of protective structures and resilience points. By profession, he is a builder, but throughout his life, he has changed many jobs until he found, as he says, a good team and working conditions. His mother also worked in the municipal sector for many years.

Oleg has some health issues that render him unfit for military service, but when he was offered to assist our defenders along with other municipal workers, he immediately agreed.

"We really tried to do everything properly. There are constant shellings that are hard to get used to. The moments of silence are so rare that they make you uneasy. It was more difficult psychologically than physically. We were always on guard. With one hand, we held our armor to cover ourselves in case of shelling. I can't say it was scary. We went voluntarily and knew we had to do this work; it was our duty," Oleg Mosenzov added.
