Law enforcement agents have apprehended a man who illegally caught 180 kg of fish, causing damages to the state exceeding 600,000 hryvnias. This was reported by the fisheries patrol.

During a raid at Tudorope Lake, located within the Yaskiv territorial community, state inspectors from the Odesa fisheries patrol, in collaboration with border guards and police, discovered an individual who used two nets from a boat to illegally catch 348 breams, 23 crucians, and one carp.

"A protocol has been filed against the offender for severe violations of fishing regulations, and materials are being prepared to initiate a criminal case. The illegal catch, fishing gear, boat, and engine have been confiscated," the statement said.
