A 20-year-old man in the Odesa region has been charged and a preventive measure has been chosen. He faces significant prison time.

Patrol officers stopped the young man on the Health Trail, where he was leaving «drops» containing illegal substances. An investigative group arrived at the scene and confiscated a total of 22 packets of psychotropic substances, which were confirmed by experts.

The offender was detained, and during the investigation, it was found that he was receiving drugs via the internet and distributing them in his area. He recorded the drop-off locations on his phone, which was also seized.

According to investigator Marina Yermolenko, with sufficient evidence against him, the young man has been charged under Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The court has placed him in custody with a possibility of bail set at 60,565 UAH. By law, he could face imprisonment of up to 10 years with asset confiscation.

Police continue the investigation to identify all individuals involved in this crime. The investigation is under the supervision of the Primorsky District Prosecutor's Office.
