Experts from the KУ «СМЕП» are carrying out the installation of traffic delineators and metal posts along pedestrian zones.

These initiatives contribute to: 
-     ensuring pedestrian safety – preventing vehicle access to sidewalks and green areas; 
-     organizing parking – preventing chaotic parking, especially in narrow areas; 
-     regulating traffic flows – delineators promote adherence to traffic lanes and reduce the risk of accidents. 

According to point 11.13 of the traffic regulations, vehicle movement on sidewalks and pedestrian paths is prohibited. Furthermore, point 15.10 states that parking on sidewalks is also prohibited. 

Sidewalks — are spaces designated for pedestrians, the elderly, and individuals with limited mobility. It is crucial to ensure safety and comfort for pedestrians, particularly near medical facilities and areas with high pedestrian activity.
