International Aid for Odesa Amidst War
International assistance to Odesa during wartime: new generators for the children's hospital.
The event aims to instill a sense of national pride and respect for cultural traditions in the youth, as well as to develop skills necessary for self-defense and the defense of our country.
Law enforcement officials reminded the participants of safety measures, providing support and ensuring their safety while engaging in military drills, shooting, first aid, and other sporting challenges.
Maria Valovich, a juvenile prevention inspector from the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi police department, who participated in the event with teams from the educational institutions of the Tatarbunar and Lyman communities, shared:
«We took the opportunity to discuss general life safety rules with the children. Specifically, we reviewed how to handle suspicious and dangerous items. We focused on rules for pedestrians and cyclists. Upon the children’s request, we simulated the arrest of an offender, allowing teenagers to experience being police officers themselves.»
