Storm Winds in Odesa: Aftermath of the Gale
A storm in Odesa resulted in downed trees and damaged vehicles.
As part of the Village Day celebrations in the Dobroslav community, a significant event took place — the forum titled ‘Open Community – Open World,’ marking a new step in fostering international and intermunicipal cooperation in the Odessa region.
More than 60 guests and participants attended the forum, which featured three panel discussions with over 20 speakers from Ukraine and abroad, including the United Kingdom, Latvia, Italy, and the Netherlands.
The discussions focused on best practices of community collaboration, new growth opportunities, current challenges, and joint projects.
As a result of the forum, five partnership memorandums were signed, strengthening cooperation between the Dobroslav village council and other communities and organizations:
Participants included representatives from parliament, regional and district authorities, international institutions, the diplomatic corps, academic, public, charitable, and religious organizations.
Among the speakers were members of parliament, diplomats, community leaders, and experts in development, security, international cooperation, and local self-government.
Special thanks were expressed to partners from other regions of Ukraine who traveled to Dobroslav from Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Donetsk, and Luhansk to contribute to this important dialogue about the future of communities.
The forum ‘Open Community – Open World’ exemplifies how local initiative and unity can strengthen the region and all of Ukraine.
Together to victory! Together – we are stronger!
