From July 2 to 8, 2025, the picturesque heart of the Carpathians, Bukovel, hosted the National Festival-Competition of Choreography, Vocal, and Circus Arts, OKSAMYT WONDERLAND-BUKOVEL.

Among 300 competitors, the folk artistic collective, the dance ensemble "Karnaval" from the Odesa Center for Children and Youth Creativity "Moryana," stood out and won the Grand Prix of the festival.

Additionally, the Odesa team added three first places and one second place in various nominations to their creative achievements.

The performance "Stolen Childhood" became a standout, impressing the jury and audience with its emotional intensity and ideological power, symbolizing the voice of a generation yearning for peace, hope, and truth.

Besides participating in the competition, children enjoyed a diverse entertainment program. They climbed Ukraine's highest mountain, Hoverla, visited many picturesque spots in Ivano-Frankivsk region, participated in thematic discos, workshops, improved their swimming skills in the pool, and interacted with peers from other cities.

The "Karnaval" ensemble is a joint project of the "Moryana" center and Odesa Lyceum No. 16, where this collective operates. It is led by the talented dancer and choreographer Vitaliy Kuznetsov.
