The Literary Museum in Odessa hosted the grand opening of a unique exhibition titled «UA ZOO – ART», showcasing the artwork of zoo employees from across Ukraine.

Ivan Liptuga, the Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Culture, and Marketing of the Odessa City Council, welcomed the participants, emphasizing the crucial role of zoos in animal conservation and uplifting the spirit of the Ukrainian people.

- We are showcasing the work of zoo staff from four Ukrainian cities, - said Igor Bilyakov, the project initiator and director of the Odessa Zoo. - This exhibition unites creative individuals who genuinely care for the animals.

The event also featured musical performances by vocal soloists from the Odessa Municipal Theater and musicians from the art school.

All participants were awarded certificates, learned much about zoology, and enjoyed the artistic talents displayed.

The «UA ZOO – ART» project is organized by the KU «Odessa Zoo», with I.V. Bilyakov as the project author and O.S. Alekseenko as the curator.

The exhibition will run from July 19 to July 30 at: 2 Lanzheronivska St., Odessa.
