In Odesa, 20,3 thousand consumers are without electricity due to enemy attacks. DTEK is working to restore power supply.
Odesa has joined the national initiative for accessibility. The first meeting of accessibility ambassadors was held in Kyiv.
The event was opened by Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelenska, Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba, UNICEF representative in Ukraine Munir Mamedzade, and the President's Advisor on Accessibility Tetiana Lomakina.
Valentyna Khoruzha represented Odesa at the meeting as the head of the Youth Council under the Odesa Mayor and as an ambassador for the national project "Movement without Barriers". She shared Odesa's experiences in creating accessible spaces and established cooperation with ambassadors from other regions.
"I am proud to be an ambassador for the 'Movement without Barriers' project and part of a team that is changing the country for the better," noted Valentyna Khoruzha.
"Movement without Barriers" is a flagship project of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development under the initiative of Olena Zelenska titled "Without Barriers". It covers 15 pilot communities where accessible routes to essential social facilities are created, ensuring unobstructed movement for all mobility-impaired groups.
