Unity Celebration: Youth and Veterans Come Together on Unity Day
On the occasion of Unity Day in Ukraine, youth and veterans united to strengthen national consciousness.
In the new cardiology department of the city clinical hospital No. 11 in Odesa, nearly 1000 patients have already received treatment. Among them, over 600 individuals benefited from cardiology care, while 370 received cardiothoracic surgery.
During this time, doctors have performed nearly 900 surgical interventions, including 174 operations for patients with acute myocardial infarction, utilizing stenting and balloon angioplasty.
The department also conducts thromboextractions for pulmonary artery embolism and various other surgical procedures.
Under the state medical guarantees program, 293 planned coronary angiographies have been performed, with an additional 100 carried out for Odesa residents under the city's health program.
Patients receive medical assistance at no cost and particularly appreciate the comfortable conditions within the department.
The new cardiology department adheres to all accessibility requirements, featuring a new elevator, inclusive restrooms, Braille signage, a convenient ramp at the entrance, and tactile paving.
Providing high-quality cardiology and cardiothoracic care enhances the hospital's capability and helps preserve the health and lives of patients with cardiovascular diseases, marking a significant step forward for medical development in Odesa.
