Advancing Digital Healthcare in Odesa

To implement cutting-edge digital solutions in the healthcare sector, the Odesa City Council's Department of Health has signed a cooperation agreement with Ukraine's leading medical information system, Helsi.

This agreement focuses on supporting and developing medical services for both doctors and patients, particularly through the introduction of modern digital solutions that enhance interaction between the city's healthcare institutions and the public. This will enable the rapid acquisition of analytical reports in standardized formats, reducing the reliance on manual reporting and facilitating timely, informed management decisions in healthcare.

Another critical area of collaboration is establishing an accessible digital service for medical support for veterans. The partnership with Helsi will create a clear pathway for veterans to access medical assistance: online appointments, straightforward next steps, and organized support within the participating facilities. This means less bureaucracy and more concrete assistance.

Furthermore, the memorandum aims to enhance the information provided to Odesa residents regarding the National Program "Screening 40+" and ensure its accessibility through push notifications and the option for online appointments at convenient medical facilities.

"Barrier-free access and digitalization are fundamental components of the modern healthcare system in Odesa. This partnership is about practical changes: less waiting, more accessibility, transparent processes, and a modern service for the people," emphasized Elena Kolodenko, the director of the Department of Health of the Odesa City Council.
