Cancer Prevention Week in Odesa

From February 2 to 6, 2026, Odesa will hold a Cancer Prevention Week organized by the Department of Health in anticipation of World Cancer Day, celebrated on February 4.

During this week, everyone is invited to visit their family doctors for preventive check-ups, and if needed, obtain electronic referrals for screenings: breast ultrasound, mammography, Pap test for women, PSA test for men, fecal occult blood test, and chest X-rays.

To undergo free preventive check-ups, you need to contact a family doctor with whom you have a declaration. If you do not have a declaration, you can sign one with a doctor at the health facility where you are going for the check-ups.

Timely diagnosis allows for the early detection of precancerous conditions and malignant tumors, which can be effectively treated.

For screenings, please visit the Primary Health Care Centers in Odesa from February 2 to 6 at the following addresses:

1. Center No. 2: Reception from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Obseravtory Lane, 8, Dobrovoltsiv St, 26, Seged St, 16, Pasteur St, 56, Bazaar St, 77);
