Inclusive Development in Odesa: New Initiatives
Odesa is implementing new measures to create a barrier-free environment and support for mobility-impaired groups.
The web design studio «IT Veteran Odesa» invites war veterans and their families to participate in specialized training in web design and information technology.
This initiative is part of the state policy aimed at supporting veterans' entrepreneurship and enhancing its effectiveness. The Ukrainian Veterans Fund organized a competition for projects developed by veterans to foster entrepreneurial activities.
The project «IT Veteran Odesa» was recognized as a winner in the «Worthy: Golden Hands» competition in 2023, aimed at reintegrating veterans into society and improving their professional skills.
For veterans and their families, as well as for relatives of the fallen, «IT Veteran Odesa» offers special training conditions:
- A discount of up to 50% for combat participants or their families;
- A discount of up to 75% for persons with war-related disabilities;
- Free training for relatives of deceased veterans.
Training is available in both online and offline formats.
Details can be found on the website.
Video about the training process is available here.
