Leaders of student governance from communal secondary education institutions in Odessa held the inaugural meeting of the High School Parliament for the 2024/2025 academic year.

During the meeting, students reviewed the activities of the Parliament for the 2023/2024 academic year. The most active members were awarded certificates by the Department of Education and Science of the Odessa City Council.

Graduates and members of last year's Parliament attended to support the new candidates and share their experiences.

Following this year's voting, Alina Dildina (Kyiv District), Elizabeth Buzynovska (Primorsky District), Milena Mala (Khadyzhbey District), and Daria Boyarska (Peresyp District) were elected to the presidium of the High School Parliament for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Leaders of district parliaments will join the Youth Council under the Odessa Mayor and represent the interests of Odessa's youth in the city council, participating in shaping the city's youth policies.

During the meeting, projects for the 2024/2025 academic year were approved. These include initiatives for the protection of socially vulnerable groups, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, ecological efforts, cultural and charity events, volunteering, and much more.
