Larisa Makarova, an educator from Odesa's preschool institution «Nursery-Kindergarten» No. 300, has been recognized among the top 50 educators by Global Teacher Prize Ukraine - 2024 in the “Preschool Education” category.

This recognition is a result of her ongoing quest for innovative approaches to educating and nurturing preschool children.

Her teaching efforts have been celebrated with awards and the title of «Best Educational Worker of the City of Odesa».

In 2024, the author team under Larisa Makarova's leadership received First-Degree Diplomas at the city competition «Educational Pearl of Odesa» in categories such as «Pearls of Preschool Education» and «Best Educational Practices for Creating a Modern Educational Environment» during the regional festival «Preschool Education – FEST».

The Global Teacher Prize Ukraine is a prestigious national award for outstanding teachers, part of the global prize. Since 2017, the award has been organized by «Osvitoria» in Ukraine to highlight the achievements of teachers and emphasize the importance of this profession.
