Last week, Odessa hosted Mr. Ozgur Tonguc Chuhali, the ambassador of the Odessa Golf Club from Turkey. Previously, he lived and worked in Odessa for many years, representing the Association of Ukrainian and Turkish entrepreneurs and participating in the renovation of the specialized psychoneurological children's home «Sun».

During this year's visit, Ambassador Chuhali toured the «Sun» children's home, where he interacted with the children and medical staff, and also visited Library No. 21 of the Centralized Library System for Children, where he took part in a golf workshop.

As noted by Anna Lunova, acting head of the maternal and child health sector at the Department of Health, Mr. Chuhali assured that further cooperation and sponsorship from the sister city of Istanbul would continue.

On February 17, the Odessa Golf Club held a golf masterclass for students of Lyceum No. 81 at Library Branch No. 21, with Mr. Chuhali participating. The children learned golf techniques, hit their first balls, and received prizes.

Additionally, the ambassador spoke about the activities of golf clubs in Turkey and children's programs in schools and libraries.

During the visit, cooperation between Bodrum and Odessa was outlined to promote Olympic sports, particularly golf.
