Safety Training: Protecting Children from Landmines
Workshop for educators and children aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of landmines.
From March 6 to 9, 2025, Dnipro hosted an open Muay Thai tournament named «Dnipro Star».
This year, the tournament was dedicated to the heroes defending our country.
160 athletes from Odesa, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Berdychiv, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Kharkiv, and other regions came to compete for medals.
The main motivation for each boxer in the fight for victory was the desire to participate in the Ukrainian championship in April and the chance to join the national team.
Odesa athletes, trained at Odesa Comprehensive Children and Youth Sports School No. 7, won 14 gold, 5 silver, and 2 bronze medals at the tournament.
Among the winners were: Nikita Kuts, Bohdan Studnev, Kyrylo Berezovskyi, Volodymyr Trufkaki, Yelyzaveta Velykova, Diana Savotina, Oleksandr Andriushchenko, Ivan Rasputnyi, Vladyslav Postnov, Timur Katerynchak, Oleksandr Zabara, Mark Yushchuk, Pavlo Balabko, and Yelysey Shaiyenko.
Silver medals were awarded to: Dmytro Zanin, Kira Laryonova, Mykhailo Honcharuk, Ruslan Kravchenko, and Sviatoslav Shaiyenko.
Bronze medals were claimed by Timur Ostrovskyi and Myroslav Yakush.
The athletes were prepared by coaches: Volodymyr Pishenin, Liliia Shapoval, Mykhailo Mitaki, and Mykhailo Kovalchuk.
The tournament was organized by the Dnipro City Federation of Muay Thai in collaboration with the 25th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade.
