Arrests in Odesa for Bribery Related to Fake Summons
Police in Odesa arrested officials suspected of bribery in connection with fake military summons.
Students from Odessa won two silver and three bronze medals at the national physics Olympiad. All winners are pupils of Richelieu Lyceum, showcasing exceptional knowledge among 150 participants from various regions. This was reported by Alexander Lonchak, the head of the Odessa Regional Education Department.
According to the competition results, silver diplomas were awarded to Nazarij Vrachuk (10th grade, competing for the 11th) and Yurii Semenov-Hamarov (10th grade). The bronze winners included Kostyantyn Bordiian (9th grade), Dmytro Loshkaruk, and Lev Shevchenko (8th grade). One of the winners, Nazarij Vrachuk, also received an invitation to the selection camp for candidates to the Ukrainian national team for the International Physics Olympiad.
The contributions of the physics teachers at Richelieu Lyceum – Andrii Katz, Vadym Manakin, and Oksana Kolesnikova – who prepared the prizewinners for the competition were also highlighted.
